The 2009 Kyoto 500 preparations are well under way. Storm Racing are currently entering 3 drivers from the team into the event; NikoPDR, Wild and Headbanger.

Wild and Simah on Friday night took the challenge of driving a 24 hour race, arranged by [LTC] Live To Cruise. This was an event challenging every driver to drive as much as we could. You could either drive solo or with a team that consisted of two drivers and whoever drove the most mileage would therefore before come the winner.

The race started around 01.00am on Saturday, Simah had some password problems before the race and after some connection problems he lost six minutes, whilst Wild was in a good position to fight against the top 5! Simah kept getting time outs and when race ended we counted he had a total of 9 timeouts. He drove about 10 hours, and ended 12th. Wild was busy most of the Saturday, and did not make many laps behind the wheel. He ended 20th. This was still a good result as 38 drivers had participated in the race.

In teams category Storm Racing made it to 9th, with 1439.39 miles driven. There were a total of 19 teams that participated in the event. 
We in SR looks at this as good training, and we will try to attend more races in the future.
